By train

The Garfagnana valley is in the top of the north-west of Tuscany, and shares borders with Liguria and Emilia Romagna. It is so easy to use it as a base for discovering the beauty of the surrounding valley.

Our Farm holydays is located just over a couple of kilometers from the village of Piazza al Serchio, so the train station of the village is easily accessible.
The trains connecting Garfagnana to Media Valle of Serchio river and other areas are not so many, so before you choose the train as a means of transport is necessary to inquire about timetables and departures.

In any case, for some itineraries we strongly advise you to travel by train, this will avoid you long distances by car and parking problems.

You can get by train to:
Lucca – visit its old town center and the walls
Firenze – visit the town
Pisa – visit the leaning tower
Le Cinque Terre – visit the villages and enjoy the sea
