It’s crystalline green waters reflect the image of Mount Pisanino, the highest mountain of the Apuan alps. On its banks, you will find some picnic tables where you can take a break, recuperate and enjoy a snack.

Lucca is definitely a unique city, it’s defining feature is the defensive wall surrounding the city. The wall dates back to the sixteenth century and is still intact; it is 4km long and only interrupted by some points of entry. It is an impressive sight to be seen. The wall has become an area of recreation, take a stroll or bike along the bike path under the cool shade of the poplar trees that border the gravel road.
